For example, a 3-hour engagement in the Cotswolds requires around 7 hours in total when travel is factored in, meaning my full working day would need to be reserved for you. However, as part of this time is spent travelling rather than in one another’s company, I’m happy to take a considered approach when planning engagements further afield, with full-day arrangements set at £1,600. To secure this time, a 50% deposit (deducted from the total fee) is required, reflecting my commitment to dedicating a full day exclusively to you and safeguarding against late cancellations which would otherwise result in a full day’s loss of earnings. Overnight Bookings My overnight package spans 17 hours, from 6pm through to 11am the following morning, including 9 hours of uninterrupted rest. As I take the entire day off work to be fully rested and engaged for overnight bookings, a 50% deposit is required to secure overnights. As above, this reflects my commitment of dedicating a full day exclusively to you and safeguards against late cancellations which would result in a full day’s loss of earnings. Spending a full day together (7 hours) feels every bit as exciting as an overnight. For full-day dates in London, the same arrangement as my overnight rate applies. Extensions on the Day Shorter bookings often lead to extension requests on the day. Unfortunately, additional time cannot be guaranteed unless arranged in advance. My diary is busy, with engagements either side of one another. If you feel you may prefer a longer experience, I recommend reserving the fuller time to ensure our booking unfolds without limitation. It is not uncommon for gentlemen to wish they had allowed for more time once we’ve met. Payment To confirm a booking, a £100 deposit is required. This is credited towards the total and reflects the time and preparation reserved for you, as well as any hosting considerations should plans change. For overnight or full-day engagements, a 50% deposit applies (please refer to my Practicalities section). On the rare occasion I’ve needed to amend or cancel a meeting, deposits have always been either refunded or applied to a rescheduled date. The remaining balance is settled in cash at the time of our meeting. Bank transfer is only available to established regulars. Discretion, clarity, and mutual respect are assumed throughout. Cancellation Policy Cancellations or rescheduling require a minimum of five days’ notice prior to the scheduled start time of our date. With five or more days’ notice, your deposit may be applied towards a future booking. Changes made with less than five days’ notice result in the deposit being retained, as the time reserved for you cannot easily be reallocated at short notice. In the unlikely event that I need to cancel, your deposit will of course be refunded immediately and in full. In the interest of fairness, clients who cancel with late notice on two occasions will be asked to confirm a future booking with full payment in advance. Any third booking missed is non-refundable. Time reserved for you is income declined elsewhere. Repeated last-minute cancellations represent a significant loss of earnings, and this policy ensures arrangements remain respectful for all involved.
