Searches before the trial
Using digital marketing tools such as Ahrefs and SEMrush. we analysed the top 441 keywords related to “stormy daniels”. This data showed that – on average – there are 126,400 worldwide monthly searches on Google.
However, these digital marketing tools do not show real-time data, and instead use an average of searches over the past 12 months.
To understand how much search interested has peaked since the trial, we decided to use a tool called Google Trends. This provides much more up-to-date search data.
Searches during the trial
Using Google Trends data, we’re now estimating that Google searches for Stormy Daniels have ballooned to a monthly average of 644,210 – or a 400% increase.
In fact, at the time we’re writing this report (13th May) the traffic for these keywords is at near all time highs.
The reason is that on Friday 9th May, format porn star Stormy Daniels completed her testimony in the criminal hush money trial of former President Donald Trump.
“Stormy Daniels porn” Google searches
“Stormy Daniels videos” Google searches
As can be seen by the Google Trends graphs above, we are currently seeing near all time highs of interest for the porn actress videos. Only in March 2018 there has been such an interest, exactly when the Trump affair became known to the general public [1]
Most clicks come from the United States, but in the UK the interest is at the same level on relative terms (i.e. population adjusted).

How is this impacting Stormy Daniel’s earnings?
To estimate how much Stormy Daniels might be earning from increased interest in her adult videos due to the trial, we have to consider the average RPM (Revenue per Mille, or revenue per thousand views). The RPM in the adult entertainment industry can vary widely, ranging anywhere from $5 to $15 per 1,000 views depending on the platform, region, and engagement levels.
Methodology:
Determine RPM: Assume an average RPM of $15 per 1,000 views, based on estimates within the industry.
Estimate Traffic Increase: The search volume increase for relevant keywords provides an indirect approximation of increased views for Stormy Daniels’ videos.
The global traffic for keywords like “stormy daniels porn,” “stormy daniels videos,” and “stormy daniels xxx” historically totaled around 126,400 searches.
With recent increases, a projected global search volume estimate is around 644,200 searches for May.
Calculate Additional Views:
Assume that search volume roughly correlates with video views (actual views will vary).
Therefore, the traffic increase is about 517,800 additional searches.
Estimate Additional Revenue:
Calculate the additional views in thousands: 517,800 searches / 1,000 = 517 (thousands).
Multiply by the RPM of $15: 517 x $15 = $7755.
Thus, with an estimated RPM of $15, Stormy Daniels might be expected to earn around $7,755 extra in May alone due to the recent increase in search interest and views. This is a simplified calculation and doesn’t account for variations between platforms, geographical regions, or actual engagement rates. And it takes in consideration only ad revenue on her public videos.
Expert Analysis: why Stormy Daniels is going viral?
“The media is all-in on this trial, and it seems like the story is here to stay for a while” according to Ola Miedzynska, digital marketing expert and co-founder of Erobella.com.
The testimony provided by Stormy Daniels during the hush money trial included some intimate and potentially embarrassing details regarding her encounter with Donald Trump. Here are some of the notable points she highlighted:
Silk Pajamas: Daniels mocked Trump’s choice of pajamas when they met in a Lake Tahoe hotel suite in 2006. She teased him by saying, “Does Hugh Hefner know you stole his pajamas?”
Power Imbalance: Daniels described feeling pressured to engage in a sexual encounter with Trump due to a perceived power imbalance between them.
Spanking Suggestion: During their interaction, Trump suggested that Daniels should spank him.
Affair Details: Daniels testified that Trump tried to downplay his marriage, saying that he and his wife, Melania, “don’t even sleep in the same room.” She described feeling ashamed and conflicted after their tryst.
Reality TV Show Promise: Daniels stated she stayed in touch with Trump after the encounter because he promised to help her appear on his reality TV show, The Apprentice.
Tabloid-Ready Details: Daniels recalled many vivid details, such as the way Trump allegedly initiated sex after she returned from the bathroom to find him waiting on the bed.
Cross-Examination: Trump’s defense tried to depict Daniels as a liar, claiming that she had previously denied having an affair with Trump and sought to profit from her story.
These salacious details were part of her testimony, providing insight into the nature of their relationship and offering potentially damaging evidence against Trump.
