We have analysed over 2.7 million points from one million users to find - perhaps surprisingly - that when it comes to their erotic preferences, men are more complex than many might assume...
More Is More
It seems that the majority of German men prefer women with large or even very large breasts. More than two thirds of the men we surveyed prefer a generous cup size. While 37 percent see their ideal partner as having at least a D-cup when it comes to breast size, 34 percent (more than one in three men) prefer a woman with larger breasts measuring a double D or larger. Only 17 percent prefer small or very small breasts in their female counterparts, although interestingly, more of these men (eleven percent) prefer the smallest breast sizes of an AA cup or less, than a slightly larger A or B cup (which comes in at 6 percent).
The perfect
Breast Is A MythThere is no such thing as perfect breasts, with preferences very much down to the individual. Even doctors and biologists who have looked at the female breast with a purely scientific eye come to the conclusion that the optimal breast size is extremely individual. In many cases, plastic surgeons determine the ideal volume of the breast for their patients based on its proportion to their body size. The most important factors for aesthetic proportion are height and the width of your shoulders and hips. From a health perspective, orthopedic surgeons also advocate breasts which are in proportion to body size, which put less strain on the spine than large, heavy breasts, particularly for more petite builds or sports enthusiasts. Psychologists will often advocate that individuals find acceptance with their natural breasts rather than making surgical enhancements, although the health and confidence of the individual is paramount.
With an overwhelming majority of 57% (more than one in every two men using our site) seeking a blonde partner, it would seem that this persistent stereotype is there for a reason. It also doesn't matter whether or not the partner is a natural blonde apparently.
Interestingly, a US study showed similar results. In the study, blonde women were consistently rated by men as younger, healthier and more attractive than women with darker hair. Scientists concluded that the origin of the preference lies in human evolution.
Redheads are also particularly popular with our male demographic. Although only two percent of German women are naturally red-haired, one in five men is looking for a redheaded partner and it is possible that this rarity is what attracts them. In addition, the popular image persists that red-haired women are particularly fiery and more open-minded sexually. Similarly to those in search of a blonde bedfellow, it also doesn't appear to matter whether their auburn partner is a natural redhead or not.
pubic hair?
Intimate hair is a sensitive issue for many men and women. Some prefer it natural, others prefer a landscaped or completely clear landing strip. Whilst the trend for a completely shaved pubic area has been popular for a number of years, the data clearly shows that most of our male demographic prefer their partners to have a more natural hairline down south. Indeed, 75% of men find pubic hair perfectly fine in a partner, with only one in four men preferring a complete intimate shave. More than 50% even explicitly request a partner with natural pubic hair growth, true to the motto: the wilder the better. This data coincides with findings from other studies that have suggested a return to preferences for more natural intimate hair.

Men prefer women with experienceThe question of what age men look for in their online quest for a partner also yields surprising results. Anyone who assumes that most men are looking for young women in their early 20s to 30s is seriously mistaken. Our data shows that the average age of an ideal partner is 42 years. More mature women are obviously very popular with men.
What Are Men Really Looking For In Bed?
The most popular male sex fantasies vary between real hardcore themes to passionate softcore topics. Overall, the extensive number of data points that we analyzed paint a highly complex picture of male sexuality, which proves that men are difficult to pigeonhole. Although double penetration is a hardcore topic that takes first place in the top 5 search terms for what men want in bed - soft sex variants are at least as popular with extra-long foreplay coming in a close second and Nuru (an erotic style of massage) coming in third most popular. Perhaps the famous German crooner Herbert Grönemeyer was right when he sang: "Men need a lot of tenderness."
Double penetration: With double penetration, a person is penetrated by two dildos or two men at the same time. This hardcore sex practice is particularly popular in porn films - so it is hardly surprising that it is also one of the most popular preferences in our list. While around 12% of our Germany's men searched for this, there is particular interest in Nuremberg (19%) and Berlin (17%).
Extra-long foreplay: For passionate sex, intense foreplay is often essential. Indeed, for around 10 of men in Germany it seems that it cannot be long and intense enough! Incidentally, a particularly large number of men in Unna (22%), Wuppertal (19%) and Lüdenscheid (18%) are interested in this preference - it seems that sex is all about the journey, not the destination...
Nuru massages: Erotic massages seem to go down well with men. The nuru massage technique has even made it into the top 5 most popular sex fantasies that our users look for. But what does it mean? A key part of the nuru massage is the so-called "body to body" massage, which originally comes from Japan. It is particularly popular in Bremen (14%), Aachen (14%) and Cottbus (13%).
Anal sex: Anal sex is probably one of the most popular male sex fantasies of all. While for some it is an absolutely taboo subject, for many others it is an inseparable part of a fulfilling sex life. Our analysis shows that there is strong interest in this across the entire country - but particularly high interest in Hanau (12%), Konstanz (9%) and Kaiserslautern (7%).
Kissing with tongue: A kiss with tongue can be a veritable firework of emotions and for many men it is a natural part of passionate sex - albeit not one usually associated with paid sex. While French kisses were requested from around 2% of men in Germany as a whole, they are particularly popular in Emsdetten (8%), in the district of Leipzig (7%) and in Stuttgart (6%). Ooh la la!
Overall, the results suggest that men across Germany think very similarly when it comes to sex and sexual partners. Nevertheless, a look at the data reveals some interesting differences between individual regions and cities. So let's take a look below at the erotic preferences and sexual characteristics of the Erobella users in the 5 largest cities in Germany:
Men in Berlin want to get down to business quickly. Here, significantly fewer users are interested in long foreplay or an erotic massage than in the rest of Germany. Harder sex variants are much more popular, e.g. double penetration (17%), facial insemination (2.4%) or fisting (2.2%). The German capital lives up to its reputation for being particularly hardcore.
Deep in the north, things get more debauched. Hamburg men are significantly more likely to look for supposedly “dirty” sex practices than men in the rest of Germany. Peeing in particular is apparently very popular with Hamburgers using Erobella.
In the far south, on the other hand, a completely different preference dominates: In Munich, many men seem to have a preference for women's feet (2.2%). Yes, that's right: the foot fetish has been particularly well received in Bavaria. But facesitting (3.3%) and squirting (1.6%) are also popular erotic preferences here.
Cosmopolitanism has always been a top priority in Cologne. And sexually, too: people from Cologne are very open-minded and always ready to try new things. Most men, however, are not interested in a quick act. Instead, a long foreplay is compulsory for many Cologne residents using Erobella - with an erotic massage as well.
Frankfurt men, on the other hand, prefer more classic sexual shennanigans. Overall, they tend to reflect the average German preferences - with a few exciting exceptions. Facesitting (3.8%) and facial insemination (2.6%) are searched for here particularly often.
Particularly Meaningful ?
In contrast to conventional dating sites where users are often on their best behaviour, those browsing Erobella are much more honest about their turn-ons. Indeed, introducing financial elements increases the informative value, since it can be assumed that when money is involved, men will be more upfront about their sexual preferences and ideal sexual partner.
So how can we summarise our findings?
In terms of what men imagine when they think of 'the perfect woman', the results are clear; blonde, large breasts and natural public hair. It appears the stereotypes were right all along...
However, when it comes to what men like in bed, the results anything but clear cut. On the contrary; our data shows that male sexuality is multi-dimensional and nuanced, with data points covering everything from hardcore sex to kissing and cuddling. What really caught our attention was just how popular the 'softer' side of the spectrum was, especially when considered in its entireity.
Are these findings just a result of years of social distancing? Are men now yearning for more genuine human connections? Perhaps.
One thing is for certain; paid sex allows for large swathes of society to enjoy the sort of human connections that most of us take for granted.
